Peppers Salt Resort & Spa Kingscliff
Located just north of Byron Bay, just over an hour from Brisbane and only 15 minutes south of the Gold Coast Airport you will find the peaceful family beachside resort town of Kingscliff.
Popular with couples and families drawn by its expanse of uncrowded beaches and laid-back village atmosphere, Kingscliff has long been overshadowed by Byron Bay but is now acknowledged as one of the fastest growing coastal precincts in Northern New South Wales.
At the centre of Kingscliff is the main street, Marine Parade boasting a distinct village atmosphere and flavour of its own.
Wandering along the street you will find a wide range of restaurants and trendy cafes serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Dining at Kingscliff is always a pleasure with the freshest seafood from local trawlers featuring on menus along with an abundance of locally farmed fresh produce.
For a relaxed lunch or dinner why not try one of the local fish and chip eateries or cook your own creation at one of the numerous picnic and barbeque areas along the Kingscliff foreshore.
Every second, fourth and fifth Sunday of the month Kingscliff is host to beachside markets offering a huge variety of stalls, entertainment and amusements.
Visitors to Kingscliff can also enjoy a huge variety of activities including surfing, swimming, rock fishing and diving as a result of the two kilometres pristine beach that stretches from Cabarita to Fingal.
Moving inland Kingscliff is surrounded by Cudgen and the Tweed Valley region which is home to Mount Warning and World Heritage National Parks.
The rich volcanic soil of this region sees the area farmed with new crops such as exotic tropical fruits. The enormous variety suited to the area can be seen growing at the nearby Tropical Fruit World, a great day out for the entire family.
